MCC’s Emergency Medical Services certificate program offers the professional preparation you need to become certified as a New York State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). The program provides exceptional classroom and field training by experienced professionals and preparation for advancement to paramedic-level training. Already working in the field? Through classroom learning, labs and simulated emergency situations, you’ll develop knowledge and skills to deliver pre-hospital emergency medical care. You’ll learn to perform comprehensive patient assessments. Deliver life-saving interventions according to protocols. Manage patient care while providing safe transportation to appropriate facilities. And communicate effectively with people at the scene.
Through elective courses you can also focus on paramedic candidate preparation, emergency medical services management, or with the help of an advisor, tailor the program to meet your individual goals to qualify for professional positions at:

描述
This certificate is designed for students interested in preparing for entry into the emergency medical services field and to prepare them academically for progression to the level of paramedic. Students will be able to seek to obtain certification to as a New York State Emergency Medical Technician after completion of EMS 110. Students will prepare themselves for work in the EMS field with courses regarding EMS management. MCC is recognized by the Department of 健康 as an authorized sponsor of EMS Certification 项目.
